Antistatic

Antistatic is a function that prevents static electricity from being charged.
Electrons become unevenly distributed and accumulate in insulators due to friction and peeling, and the above phenomenon causes static electricity to be charged.

The harmful effects of static electricity include malfunctions of precision equipment, physical destruction, ignition, and various other problems. It can also cause dust, dirt, pollen, and other debris to adhere.
General antistatic agents use a surfactant to attract atmospheric moisture to the surface of the adherend, thereby reducing its electrical resistance. However, although this method is inexpensive, its antistatic effect is affected by humidity, and the antistatic effect decreases over time.

Our antistatic paints use metal oxides to suppress static electricity by making it easier for metal ions to conduct electricity. The antistatic effect lasts permanently and is not easily affected by environmental factors such as humidity. Please take a look at our product lineup for applications requiring higher reliability and needs that do not change their antistatic function over time.
