What Is Ag/AgCl Conductive Ink?

Silver/silver chloride conductive ink is a printable electrode material containing silver and silver chloride.

It is commonly used to form conductive and electrochemical electrode layers for medical monitoring devices, biosensors and electrochemical sensors. Typical applications include ECG/EKG, EEG, glucose monitoring, electrotherapy and printed reference electrodes.

In the printed electronics industry, the terms “conductive ink” and “conductive paste” are both used.

PELNOX Ag/AgCl products are high-viscosity paste formulations that are used as conductive inks in screen-printing processes.

PELNOX Ag/AgCl conductive ink applications: K-3980, K-3981 and K-3982LP for ECG/EKG electrodes and biosensors; K-3983 and K-3984 for CGM and glucose sensors.
