MFX-1100

SilkyLink® MFX-1100 is a thin, flexible electrode material with a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrode layer formed on a conductive polyurethane film.
Because it can be cut or die-punched to the required shape, you can proceed with prototyping and product development without building your own electrode-forming process such as paste mixing, printing and drying.

    Features

  • A uniform Ag:AgCl coating with an 80:20 ratio provides stable electrode potential and low impedance.
  • Ag/AgCl coating is applied to a conductive polyurethane film. Because the film conducts through its thickness between the front and back surfaces, wiring can be easily taken out from the back side.
  • Because metal foil is not used as the main substrate, X-ray imaging can be performed with the electrode attached, and the material is less likely to interfere with diagnosis. (Internal evaluation)
  • Maintains low impedance across the EEG, ECG and EMG frequency bands. A single electrode type can support a wide range of biopotential signals and maintain low impedance even during long-term use.
  • The flexible polyurethane substrate naturally conforms to body movement and curved surfaces, contributing to wearer comfort and signal stability.

Handling Precaution

  • Silver chloride coated on the film surface may decompose when exposed to ultraviolet light. Please store the film in a cool, dark place and avoid direct sunlight.
  • The coated surface of the film may deteriorate due to skin oils or moisture from hands. Please avoid touching the coated surface with bare hands.
  • This is an electrode material intended for use with a contact medium such as gel. Use as a bare dry electrode may be unsuitable depending on the application and conditions.
